Building skills with your child to make everyday activities easier.
Regardless of what has lead to the struggle with foods, our therapists will provide one on one support for food exploration and expansion. You will notice an increase in food variety with less stress around mealtimes. We want you to feel confident and competent in feeding your child.
All feeding therapy is play based and child led in supporting exploration of textures, colors and flavors. We assess seating, oral motor skills and sensory integration. Our individualized, family centered approach helps your child to THRIVE..
Whether your child is experiencing fine motor delays with school work, dressing or play, we investigate the root cause (possibly motor concerns, sensory integration or retained reflexes). The goal is to bring your child's skills to a more age appropriate level through an individualized plan. Occupational therapy intervention is play based, meeting your child where they are.

At this time, we do not accept insurance for payment. Our rates are competitive and the expense can be reduced with the option to purchase bulk packages. If you would like, Thrive Pediatric Therapy will provide you with a Statement for Insurance Reimbursement (aka Super Bill) which allows you to be directly reimbursed by your insurance company. We are out of network with commercial insurance plans.
After receiving the referral from your child's doctor, the Thrive office will contact you to collect additional information and to set an appointment for an evaluation. A licensed occupational therapist will provide a thorough evaluation to determine your child’s strengths and the areas where support is recommended. Through records review, family input, observations and assessments the Thrive OT will build an actionable plan with suggestions for services and accommodations. All information is reviewed with the family and shared with the pediatrician. Should you have questions at any time, feel free to contact us.
Needing flexibility in scheduling? No problem! Our virtual therapy sessions allow you to receive therapy from the comfort of your own home. We use secure and HIPAA-compliant video conferencing to provide the same high-quality care as in-person sessions.
Occupational therapy services can be paid using HSA (Health Savings Account), FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) funds. Your child may qualify for scholarships which can be used to pay for therapy services and supplies. We are happy to speak with you further about options that may be available to you.
